REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
Mr. Fellenbaum leads a wide range of environmental investigations and remediation projects, including soil, soil vapor, and groundwater investigations, site inspections, UST closures, vapor intrusion mitigation system installation and operation, hazardous materials sampling, remedial injections, and remedial excavations. Mr. Fellenbaum manages all aspects of the projects he oversees and ensures that everything is in accordance with current, and applicable, regulatory agency guidelines / requirements. He is competent in preparing a large scope of technical documents including Environmental Site Assessments, Conceptual Site Assessments, Work Plans, Feasibility Studies, Corrective Action Plans and all other technical documentation.
Mr. Fellenbaum stays on the cutting edge of new environmental technologies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate with both clients and regulators on technical environmental issues and technologies in a concise and informative manner. He is passionate about his projects and is dedicated to completing projects in a timely manner while aligning both the goals of the client and regulator.
SELECTED PROJECTS
Watsonville, CA (PCE Investigation and Mitigation):Conducted a full environmental investigation of all medias at a former dry cleaner and developed a robust conceptual site model. Based on the investigation helped the property owners mitigate and remediate remaining PCE with the installation of a vapor intrusion mitigation system.
Salinas, CA (Fire Debris Cleanup):
Tested potentially hazardous burn debris from a plastics fire and successfully facilitated the cleanup of debris.
Santa Cruz, CA (Fuel UST Release Subsurface Investigation):
Developed subsurface investigation program to determine the downgradient extent of benzene contamination in groundwater and assisted in the development of a Remedial Action Plan.
Scotts Valley, CA (Lead Contaminated Soil Remediation):
Developed and implemented a Site Management, Safety and, Dust Monitoring Plan for the remedial excavation of 1,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil.
